Biology for Kids

Biology is the study of life, which includes everything from species identification to the tiniest details of a cell. Teaching kids biology is easy - there's loads to learn, and they have a natural inquisitiveness about the world around them. Explore this with them! You can start by getting out for a walk - even just cataloging everything you find in your backyard is a terrific biology lesson. Eventually you'll want more detail, at which point a hand-held magnifier or even a microscope is a great tool. Read books about the human body and about how things work.
