Dolls & Dollhouses

Caring for and cuddling dolls is instinctual in children. This is one of their first lessons in how to love and care for their own children - imitating the love and care shown to them by adults on their own "babies". From soft-bodied dolls for infants and toddlers to realistic-looking older dolls, there's something for everyone in the world of dolls. Baby dolls from Corolle, Adora, or All About Baby are favorites for young children. Fashion dolls such as those from Only Hearts Club or Groovy Girls are great choices when children are ready to start playing with outfits. We love Calico Critters for their collectibility and their appeal to young children. And of course dollhouses are some of the best classic toys around. Dollhouses encourage imagination, design sense, order, and dexterity.
