Kid's Board Games
The day dad came home with the board game, the chemistry set went on the shelf and the floor became ours. When we were forced to emerge for some trivial necessity such as dinner, our positions were closely held and our secrets went with us. The intense need to be the first to have my token cross the line, to amass a great fortune, or to conquer my part of the world blocked out all other thought, and my faculties focused on the issue at hand. I read recently that game play is now considered a great way to improve social skills and bring families together. I suppose that many types of fun also have benefits like that. Nowadays my nieces and nephews have games by Blue Orange, Gamewright, Winning Moves, and other newfangled manufacturers - I can't begin to remember them all! Also, you may find some of your favorite games in our Brain Teaser, Strategy, and Geography Game areas, too.
