We want you to shop with us again! If you are unhappy with any item, please return it within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the merchandise amount or for an exchange. If you want something replaced, or need a spare part, we'll be glad to do it as quickly as we can. Please read our return policy before you buy - we want you to be a safe and informed shopper. Back
Making a Purchase
You can browse the site by using the categories on the left side of each page, by brand or manufacturer using the BRAND tab at the top of each page, or search for a particular item using the search box found at the top of each page.
Once you find an item or product of interest, click on its picture or name to open the full product description page. Often that page has important information about the product, whether it is in stock or not, special shipping procedures, etc, that we want you to see before purchase. The BUY button will place 1 of the item in your shopping cart, which you can modify at any time. You can always remove an item later if you change your mind. To order more than 1, either change the quantity before selecting BUY, or update the quantity later. Your cart is always shown on the right side of each page. To change a quantity, enter the new quantity and select the Update Quantity link at the bottom of the cart, or select the View Cart Details to open a new page with all cart information shown. Clear Your Cart will remove all items and leave your cart empty. Once you have your cart as you wish it to be, you are ready to proceed with Checkout. Back
Completing Your Purchase (Checkout)
When you have all the products you wish to purchase in your cart, you may checkout and pay via the Checkout button, which appears on every page. When you checkout using our servers, you have the option to select Gift Wrap, have a small card added to your order, put a personal message on the order, and check the status of your order directly through our site. Returns
Returning products purchased from PlayFair Toys is convenient and easy! If you are not satisfied with an item(s), we offer a 30-day, money-back guarantee on all purchases, excluding shipping and handling charges, provided the item has not been played with and is in its original packaging. Your order will ship with an Easy Returns Form included. We recommend saving that form in the event that you need or wish to make a return.
Exchanges: Gift recipients may wish to exchange an item that is a duplicate or not age appropriate. We are happy to help you with that. If you wish to exchange your item for another item available through www.playfairtoys.com, first return the original item to us and request a credit. Use the Easy Returns Form included in your package to indicate this. Due to the quick turnover rate of our inventory, we can only use your credit for items we have in stock at the time of your exchange, as we do not wish to create backorder situations for our customers. Upon receipt of your returned item, PlayFair Toys will issue a credit in the amount of the total original cost of the returned merchandise. We will work with you to to apply your credit toward a new order for in-stock items at www.playfairtoys.com.
Damaged or defective items:
If the item you received arrives or does not operate correctly, please email us at service@playfairtoys.com or call us at 800-824-7255 with your Order # and details of the problem. If we are unable to fix your problem or provide replacement parts, we will provide you with a pre-paid shipping label to return the item to us, if a physical return is required. Please do not ship damaged or defective items back to us without contacting us first. We cannot be responsible for return shipping costs unless we send you a shipping label.
Extension for holiday returns:
We understand that customers have to buy holiday items well in advance before opening or giving them as gifts. We therefore offer an extended return policy during the holiday season. Any item purchased after October 15th can be returned until January 31st of the following year.
Items shipped directly from the manufacturer:
Items marked as "Ships directly from the manufacturer" will be charged a 15% restocking fee if returned (unless damaged or defective). Please contact us before returning these items for any reason.

Shipping Information
We ship quickly! Most items go out by the next business day. Items shipped directly from the manufacturer (these are noted in the description) may take 4-6 weeks for delivery, so order early or contact us for availability and approximate delivery date. We can sometimes expedite delivery. Please include a street address to ensure prompt delivery. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped at the same time, although in most cases we strive to include everything in one package.
Our standard shipping method to the 48 contiguous states is UPS Ground. We may choose to use an alternate carrier, however.
Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and APO/FPO go via the US Postal Service. We may require additional shipping costs to these regions on certain items - we will contact you if there is a need for additional charges. Express shipping to these regions is on a case by case basis. Please email us, service@playfairtoys.com , or call us at 1-800-824-7255, if you need to arrange for faster delivery.
Local Customers: Avoid the crowds and shop online! There is no charge for in-store pickup on orders of $75 or more, and only a $5 handling fee for orders under $75. Just select in-store pickup as your shipping choice at checkout, and we will have your purchase ready for pickup at Boulder location by the next business day. Please be sure to allow one full business day for in-store order processing. Items that ship directly from the manufacturer are not available for in-store pickup option. Our reasonable shipping rates start at only $7.95. We are currently offering FREE shipping on your order of at least $99. This offer is for ground shipping only, and does not apply to items shipped directly from the manufacturer.

Express shipping (2 or 3 day, depending on your location and item) is available on most items. If you select any shipping option other than Ground, please be certain that we have a good way to reach you! We will give express shipping priority, but we do not guarantee the quoted prices for express shipping on certain oversized or heavy items. International Purchasing and Shipping
At this time we have chosen to limit international shipments to Canada only. However due to technical constraints, we cannot process Canadian shipments through this website. Please call us at 1-800-824-7255 to order. We ship via UPS Ground to most Canadian regions. We cannot accept credit card payments from banks outside the US and Canada. Back

The products listed for sale on this website are also sold out of a retail store and other websites. Although we update our available inventory daily, sometimes you will order a product online that was already sold in one of our stores on the same day. If this should happen, you will be notified quickly and given the option to either cancel the item or your order, or to have the order shipped when it is complete. Can you wrap my order?
Gift wrap is complimentary here on our website as in our stores. Because our selection changes frequently, we cannot put our patterns up. But you may choose from general, infant, birthday, Christmas, and Hanukkah themes. You will be prompted for your gift wrap choice during checkout. Back
