Rubik's Revolution is a new spin on an old classic. First I have to give you the bad news - Rubik's Revolution doesn't spin. Instead, you spin the cube while pressing lighted buttons on the face of each side. Rubik's Revolution looks like a Rubik's cube but plays like a solid version of Simon Says. Different games require you to press buttons in a particular order and to remember ever more complex sequences. There are six different games, one associated with each face of the cube. Although its commonality with the original Rubik's cube is more in look and name than in execution, this is an engaging electronic toy that's a challenging memory game unto itself. I had loads of fun playing with it, and when I leave it out on the table invariably someone walks away with it, exploring all on their own. A huge advantage of Rubiks Revolution is its accessability - you can be successful with it because it starts out easy and builds. That also means that there's always a new challenge on the horizon.
