A rocky race against the clock! Rukshuk is a balancing act. Your mission is to build a specific rock formation. Rukshuk includes 25 different formations, each based on one of the world's natural rock phenomena. Rock builders score points based on rock colors - but only those in position when the clock runs out. With only so much time and such an uneven terrain, often the best choice is to stop and let the others topple. The story of Rukshuk is almost as fascinating as its play. In 1998 a young Canadian stock analyst was watching a group of friends trying to balance sugarcubes - for hours and hours! Balancing apparently holds some innate appeal. Basing and naming the game's configurations after natural rock phenomenon was a way to relate the game to the earth and cultures around us.
